Today, IFR announced the final figures of World Robotics 2020. The stock of industrial robots operating in factories around the world today marks the highest level in history. This good news is driven by the success story of smart production and automation.

Record 2.7 Million Robots Work In Factories Around The Globe

The new World Robotics 2020 Industrial Robots report presented by IFR shows a record of 2.7 million industrial robots operating in factories around the world – an increase of 12%.

World Robotics 2020 Reports published

The new World Robotics 2020 Industrial Robots and Service Robots reports were published today. Orders can be placed online and grant immediate access to the 2019 figures.

ISR announced keynote speakers - program  with business track debut

Again in 2020, the international robotics conference “International Symposium on Robotics” (ISR) will take place in conjunction with the automatica trade fair in Munich. Five keynote speakers will support the program.

Photoneo and OnRobot nominated for IERA Award final

Two applicants for the IERA Award 2020 have been nominated and will introduce a MotionCam-3D and a smart gripper RG2-FT in a special ISR session

High demand for “Robotics skills” in post-Corona recovery

By 2022, an operational stock of almost 4 million industrial robots are expected to work in factories worldwide. These robots will play a vital role in automating production to speed up the post-Corona economy.
